It’s finally official – 343 Industries’ Halo Infinite will release on December 8th for Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC. Though we didn’t see too much new gameplay at Gamescom Opening Night Live, the developer has updated the title’s Steam page with the official PC requirements. At the very minimum, you’ll need an AMD FX-8370 or Intel Core i5-4440, 8 GB of RAM and either an AMD Radeon RX 570 or Nvidia GeForce GTX 1050 Ti.
Recommended requirements include a Ryzen 7 3700X or Core i7-9700k with 16 GB RAM and either a Radeon RX 5700 XT or RTX 2070. In both cases, 50 GB of installation space is required. There may be a sizable day one patch as well so expect the overall size to be slightly more. In the meantime, 343 Industries is planning additional multiplayer betas which will 4v4 and Big Team Battle Modes.
Halo Infinite’s campaign can currently be pre-ordered but its multiplayer will be free for players on all platforms. Of course, Xbox Game Pass subscribers can access the campaign on day one at no extra cost. Stay tuned for more details in the coming months.
