In its most recent update, Heroes of the Storm adds a new skin for Mei, this time dressing her up as a Death Knight of all things. This new skin is most likely in reference to the fan theory that Mei is secretly an evil character, using her adorable personality and charm to fool players and other Overwatch characters alike.
Heroes of the Storm pits Blizzard’s iconic heroes from franchises such as Overwatch, Starcraft, and World of Warcraft into one universe called the Nexus in a MOBA battle for the ages. It’s roster has been steadily expanding, and it is clear that Blizzard enjoys seeing how these characters would interact with each other if they had the chance.

In addition to this Death Knight Mei skin, players can also enjoy the new CraftWars line of skins, mashing up characters from the StarCraft and Warcraft franchises into one. These skins are interesting takes on the existing characters, and are sure to boggle the minds of those that may not be as familiar with them.
Though this update is already live on the Heroes of Storm test server, players will have to wait a little bit before it goes live in the game. The patch will officially go live the week of September 7th, and features a heck of a lot more than just a new skin for Mei. Players can expect a new game mode, balance changes made to certain heroes, and more. Interested players should check out the patch notes linked below.
Heroes of the Storm is available now on PC.
