Hideo Kojima, the man behind Death Stranding and the beloved Metal Gear series has been looking back over his old game trailers – and you know what? He thinks they're pretty good if he does say so himself.
Whether for work, research, nostalgia, or just pure entertainment, Hideo Kojima has been reviewing his old trailers by Hideo Kojima. His Twitter account is a great place to go for snappy reviews. He recently reviewed Zack Snyder's Army of the Dead and said it turned his "head into a zombie." Is that good or bad? Who knows?

What we do know for certain, is that Hideo Kojima thinks that the game trailers directed by the man himself, Hideo Kojima, are "all well done." Reviewing Hideo Kojima game trailers is no short task either. The red band trailer for Metal Gear Solid 5 is almost ten minutes long and is actually a director's cut – unlike the new version of Death Stranding.
I reviewed the trailers I’ve done in the past, i had to say it’s all well done. lol

Replies to Hideo Kojima's tweet have pointed out how self-congratulatory it is, but they all seem well-intentioned and meant only to have a bit of fun. It's nice to look back at your legacy and feel proud of what you've accomplished.
Hideo Kojima directs and edits many of his game's trailers himself. He's done a trailer for Death Stranding, and Castlevania: Lords of Shadow. In typical Hideo Kojima fashion, these trailers by Hideo Kojima are both over five minutes long. They aren't so much short snippets as they are short movies. Fitting for a man who claims to be 70 percent films.
Maybe Hideo Kojima's stint reviewing Hideo Kojima trailers will lead to him reviewing popular Hideo Kojima games – that would be a sight to see. Would he rate Metal Gear "well done", or rather good? Would Zone of the Enders get a full thread or just a single tweet? Would he even be able to get a copy of P.T.?
We may never know what Hideo Kojima thinks of old Hideo Kojima games, but at least we know he enjoys the trailers he made.
