Honey, I Joined a Cult – the funky and fun debut title from the UK indie studio Sole Survivor – is coming to Steam Early Access next month.

Team 17 and Sole Survivor are teaming up this time for the announcement of their funky 1970s-based cult management simulator Honey, I Joined a Cult.

Taking on the role of the architect, players will create every element of the cult in this new game, from building its headquarters to caring for believers and members to preparing propaganda to make the organization as successful and respected as possible.

Creating a cult won’t be easy-peasy

Curating a profitable cult is not easy: law enforcement, furious protestors, and your leader’s bloated ego must all be kept in control if your goals are to be realized, but this shouldn’t be an issue for a future cult leader entrepreneur and spokesman, right?

In Honey, I Joined a Cult you need to take full control of your funky cult. Recruit cultists to keep the organization running smoothly; keep them engaged and pleased so that the organization’s money and influence increase. You must also construct the cult from the bottom up, designing everything from ‘hypno-chambers’ and toilets to monoliths and beds. Send out minions to spread the message or steal expensive goods for your cult headquarters.

But what’s most essential here is that you’ll have to decide where your cult is going. Are you heading to the fiery apocalypse or the return of the Squid Lord?

You now can add Honey, I Joined a Cult to your wishlist on Steam in order to play this insane cult management simulator in Early Access starting on September 14.
