How Many Chapters Are There In Judgment?

Judgment is a spin-off from the popular Yakuza series, set in the same universe and with similar gameplay, but instead focusing on private detective Takayuki Yagami as he attempts to uncover the mystery of the serial killer known as The Mole.

The game offers a lot of side content in addition to the main storyline, so how long exactly does it take you to finish? This guide breaks down each type of playthrough for you and how long it takes to complete.

How Long Does It Take To Complete Judgment?

Main Story

For players looking to just run through the main storyline without looking into the side content, you're looking at around 28 hours to complete the whole game.

If you get a little sidetracked and take part in optional substories, minigames, and dating, your completion estimate will easily jump up to about 46 hours.

Completionist

If you want to play the game fully, earning all achievements and trophies, completing all substories and optional content, it will take you approximately 95 hours to complete.

How Many Chapters Are There In Judgment?

Judgment consists of a prologue and then 12 full chapters. We have a chapter breakdown just below so you can see how long you have to go based on which chapter you are currently playing.

Once you complete the game, you will also be prompted to save your Clear Save Data and you will unlock Premium Adventure, where you can continue exploring Kamurocho and mopping up any side cases and minigames that you didn't finish earlier without any further story progression.

Premium Adventure also acts as Judgment's New Game Plus feature, choosing to start a new game will give you the choice of starting from the beginning or starting with the clear data. Choosing the latter will mean your money, skills, items and KamuroGo progress will all carry over to your new save. However, relationships with friends, side cases, and drone league records do not carry over.
