In this guide we'll be taking a look at the second-to-last brain level in Psychonauts 2. This level isn't too long, but it's got multiple sections and plenty of collectibles to keep an eye out for.

As you'd expect, the second to last level of the game is going to have some big plot points in it. We've tried to keep those details as slim as possible up until now, but if you're not wanting to be spoiled on the name of the level then come back when you're ready.

Figments In Lucrecia's Lament
Unfortunately, figments are incredibly hard to keep track of in Psychonauts 2, as they’re essentially the game’s version of coins or rings, with some levels having more than 200 of them. Psychonauts 2 also won’t tell you where you’ve found items after you’ve picked them up, so Figments can be very hard to clear if you don’t know where you’re looking. Thankfully, each level does have a figment list you can access at any time. It won’t tell you where the figments are, but it might point you to where in the world you’re missing a few collectibles based on the design. Here’s the full list for Lucrecia's Lament.
Emotional Baggage In Lucrecia's Lament
Emotional baggage are arguably the biggest collectible in Psychonauts 2. There are five different types you can find in each level, although not every level will have all of them. You’ll be able to spot Emotional Baggage as you’ll hear them crying and Raz will often comment that there’s one nearby. To collect the baggage, you’ll also need to find the tag elsewhere in the level.
Steamer Trunk
Tag:
You can find the Steamer Trunk Tag in the first quilted section of the level. Once you arrive here, immediately go left and you'll see the Tag before the river.
Baggage:
Unique to this level is the fact that all of the Baggage appears right at the end of the level.
Purse
The Purse Tag can be found in the third quilted section of the level. After going through the Aquato family throw pillow portal, go behind the portal you just walked through. The Purse Tag will be sat there.

Dufflebag
The Dufflebag Tag can be found in the third quilted room. When you get here, go to the first black button you find on the ground on the way to the next story segment. Use Telekinesis on it to open a portal. Interact with it, and you'll find the Dufflebag Tag on the other side.

Hatbox
Tag:
The Hatbox tag can be found in the first quilted section of the level. Cross the river and go forward until you see a throw pillow. This will take you to the next area, but you want to go behind it to find the Hatbox Tag.
Baggage:
Unique to this level is the fact that all of the Baggage appears right at the end of the level.
Suitcase
Tag:
You can find the Suitcase Tag in the first section of the level. Once you've completed all of the circus acts, you'll be told to climb the high rise. Do so, and you'll see it reaches the top of the stage. Jump across and the Suitcase Tag is right at the end.
Baggage:
Unique to this level is the fact that all of the Baggage appears right at the end of the level.
Memory Vaults In Lucrecia's Lament
Memory Vault 1
The first Memory Vault can be found in the Flea Circus area, on the floor near the wheel of endangerment.
Memory Vault 2
The second Memory Vault can be found in the first quilt section of the level. Cross the river and look to your right to find the Memory Vault near some grass and a campfire.
Nuggets Of Wisdom In Lucrecia's Lament
Nuggets of Wisdom are another new collectible in Psychonauts 2. Each level has a different design for them, but you’ll be able to find them by their golden glow. Collecting one will instantly increase your rank by one point.
Nuggets Of Wisdom 1
The first Nugget of Wisdom can be found in the Flea Circus area. Simply climb to the top of the red platforms by using the ropes to grab this one.
Nuggets Of Wisdom 2
The second Nugget of Wisdom can be found in the first quilted area. After crossing the river, look to your left to see the Nugget sat on a tree.
Nuggets Of Wisdom 3
The third Nugget of Wisdom can be found in the third quilted room. When you get here, go to the second black button you find on the ground on the way to the next story segment. Use Telekinesis on it to open a portal. Interact with it, and you'll find the Nugget of Wisdom on the other side.
