Changing Your Home World

Changing your Home World is done through Final Fantasy 14's Account Management site — Mog Station. After logging into your Square Enix account associated with your Final Fantasy 14 account, head to the Additional Services tab and click on the Submit Transfer Application button underneath the Home World Transfer Service entry.

After reading the Home World Transfer Service Guidelines, you are ready to select your new Home World. Clicking the dropdown tab will reveal every available Home World. But, remember, if you want to be in a specific Data Center, you must select one of its many Home Worlds. Use the tables above to see which Home World belongs to which Data Center!

Transfer Service Fees

Jumping to a new Home World often means you will be forking out some real-world cash to do so. However, a few caveats will allow you to switch to a new Server utterly free of charge if you meet the requirements, that is.

Every once in a while, an entirely new Home World will open up for players to join, and to entice players to do so, transferring to the new world will be free.Additionally, if you are currently in a Home World that is considered Congested, you can move to a Recommended one for free. Below is a quick breakdown of all current ways to transfer to a new Home World and their respective costs.

Incentives For New Worlds/Recommended Worlds

As mentioned earlier, every once in a while, a New World opens up as a way to help rebalance the game's population and distribution of players. To entice players to relocate to a new Home World, Final Fantasy 14 grants unique bonuses to anyone who decides to make the jump.

Additionally, players moving from a Congested World to a Recommended World will also receive bonuses to help nudge them to leave an overcrowded server to help keep things stable and balanced. Please note that using either of these transfer methods will lock you to that Home World for 90 days. Below are the incentives for each situation.
