How To Unlock The Tribute Trophy/Achievement In A Plague Tale: Innocence

A Plague Tale: Innocence is filled with small narrative moments most players will miss if they are not observant enough. Most of these are also connected with trophies/achievements, so anyone on the hunt for that coveted platinum will want to search for these as well. The following guide will help you achieve the Tribute accolade by finding the tomb in the eighth chapter.

It is a relatively easy find as long as you know exactly where to go. This one requires no combat or puzzles, so don't worry about any challenge once you actually head to the right area. While some might find this a little useless, A Plague Tale: Innocence's gameplay is second to the story, so you are missing out if you skip this accolade.

Reaching Chapter 8

Chapter Eight is about halfway through the story. There are sixteen chapters in all and this is the first time the group actually has a chance to settle down. Hugo and Amicia are now partnered with Lucas and Melie and they all find shelter in Chateu d'Ombrage. Before this, Amicia and Lucas are captured and interrogated by the Inquisition. Melie and her brother, Arthur, managed to help the two escape. Unfortunately, Arthur is captured in the process, giving Melie a sour attitude. Chapter Eight is also the calmest and shortest chapter so far as there is no combat nor puzzles.

Finding The Tomb

The chapter starts with Amicia waking up in a room of the fort. Hugo calls her to Lucas's room where the young man is experimenting with alchemy. You will see Hugo waiting at the doorway that leads to a spiral staircase. Before going down there, do not forget to scrounge the room for supplies. There is also a workbench so Amicia can upgrade her equipment.

With that in order, it is now time to follow Hugo downstairs. The first stop on the stairs is where the story wants you to go and meet Lucas. Don't head there just yet. Instead, keep going further down the stairs. Hugo will question you and Amicia will say it is okay for him to come with her.

When at the very bottom, you will be led straight to a room with a stone casket in the middle. This is the tomb you are supposed to find to activate the trophy/achievement. Hugo is curious about the structure and Amicia says it is appropriate to pay some respects to whoever it is that may be resting here. With the scene over and the accolade earned, you are now free to return to Lucas and continue with the story.

If You Fail

The chapter is very short and during most of it, you have the opportunity to go to this area in case you missed it at the start. If you already finished Chapter Eight, you are always free to return to the area with chapter select. Because it is during the beginning of the chapter, it is easy to unlock the Tribute accolade within a minute of starting the segment.
