Humankind: Every Classical Culture And Their Benefits

Humankind is a recently released turn-based strategy game developed by Amplitude Studios, which offers a similar gameplay experience to the Civilization series. Humankind has been warmly received by fans and critics and has launched on Microsoft's Game Pass service, giving players the chance to try the game at no extra cost.

Like Civilization, players will progress into numerous eras throughout any given campaign. Players need to make a key decision at this junction, as they're offered a range of Cultures to choose from. Each of these Cultures have their own sets of benefits, including unique units, specialized districts, and a selection of Affinity Perks that can offer significant advantages for a range of different playstyles.

This guide will list the following information for each Culture:

  • Affinity Traits – Affinity Traits are only available for their specific Cultures. They will not transfer to the next Era.
  • Legacy Traits – Legacy Traits are permanent, they are not lost once a new Era begins
  • Emblematic Units – Units that can only be built by their respective Cultures.
  • Emblematic Districts – Districts that can only be built by their respective Cultures.

Every Affinity In Humankind And How They Earn Players Fame

  • Aesthete: Players will gain extra Fame from earning Influence.
  • Agrarian: Players will earn Fame for gaining population.
  • Builder: Players will gain Fame from building new Districts.
  • Expansionist: Players will earn Fame from gaining Territories.
  • Merchant: Players will earn Fame for earning Money.
  • Militarist: Players will earn Fame for killing Military Units.
  • Scientist: Players will earn fame for discovering new Technologies.
