IO Interactive CEO and Co-founder have recently confirmed that IO Interactive is working on a new IP along with the James Bond Project; in a new interview with IGN, he also said that there are more than 200 people in the IO Interactive family, which allows them to create more projects at once and help them in Engine Improvements and stuff related to that. They have opened multiple new studios, but they are still just one studio with different places. They are still working on Hitman, James Bond Game and a completely new IP.
Now according to the latest Job Listings, they are working on a AAA Multiplayer Game; the Executive Producer Job Listing states, “IO Interactive is currently looking for an Executive Producer for our AAA multiplayer project! You will report to our CEO and be responsible for delivering a multiplayer title on all platforms within given priorities of time, budget, and quality.” So basically, they are working on a big AAA Multiplayer Game along with the James Bond Project and supporting their last release, Hitman 3, at the same time. No wonder they wanted to grow so quickly; the studio wanted to work on multiple projects simultaneously, and they are doing it now. Hopefully, they succeed at this and meet the quality assurance IO Interactive has usually met or received an even better reception.
