Many fans believe this game will be developed by Square Enix. Back in April, Yoko Taro – director and writer for Drakengard, Nier and Nier: Automata – confirmed that he is the creative director of a brand-new unannounced Square Enix game. Many fans believe Voice of Cards: The Isle Dragon Roars could potentially be that game. It has also been conjectured that the artwork posted was created by Kimihiko Fujisaka – a character designer who also worked on Drakengard. Additionally, Square Enix trademarked both Voice of Cards and The Isle Dragon Roars in June 2021.
