Dr. Slone’s Return and More Coming Next Week
Today, Epic Games has confirmed what many Fortnite users already anticipated following a leak earlier this month. Notably, Fortnite villain Dr. Slone will be returning to the online multiplayer game this Friday in the January 2022 Fortnite Crew Pack.
Dr. Slone will come back to Fortnite in a special winterized costume. Snow Stealth Slone is equipped with a Snow Stealth Hardcase Back Bling and a Sleet Spike Pickaxe. Each comes with an alternate style as well, Winter Sunset. Players will also receive a Snow Stealth Wrap that matches Snow Stealth Slone’s style.
The brand new Fortnite Crew Pack is included in the Fortnite Crew subscription service. Therefore, subscribers also get 1,000 V-Bucks and the current season’s battle pass.
As we have covered before, Season 3 Chapter 1’s battle pass notably introduced Spider-Man as a playable character. The new season of Fortnite seemed to refresh the whole gaming experience, so players will be able to get even more for their enjoyment next week.
Also, if players sign up for Fortnite Crew before December 31, they will also receive the Protocol Pack Back Bling as part of the Legacy Set. It will evolve into a different stage every month for six months over the subscription.
In addition to all of these exciting updates, Fortnite’s Winterfest event is happening now until January 6. Crew members will be able to unlock a special Golden Look Board Glider.
Fortnite has a full event planned to bring in the New Year and possibly convince players who may have lost interest to return. Between a new map, new and returning characters, celebrity crossovers and a ton of new weapons and skins, Fortnite Chapter 3 is already off to a great start.
