Jedi: Fallen Order And Apex Legends Developer Respawn Working On New Singleplayer Game

Titanfall

"We're developing a brand new singleplayer adventure from Respawn Entertainment," creative director Mohammad Alavi opened, "We're a small but ambitious team with a history of dreaming big and making splashes. Come work with us."

The EA studio behind Titanfall, Apex Legends, and Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order is working on a brand new game separate from its former titles. In the job listing, Respawn stated that the game is "a designer's dream playground with a freedom to innovate made possible by the unique universe it inhabits."

It is looking for a lead technical game designer, a senior technical game designer, a senior combat designer, and a senior level designer to bring this to life. Otherwise, Respawn is supporting its ongoing, live-service battle royale Apex Legends while it is reportedly developing the sequel to Jedi: Fallen Order. Looks like it has its hands full

It looks as though fans who were holding out hope for a Titanfall resurgence with a sequel aren't going to get what they want: for now, Apex Legends seems to be the focus for the Titanfall world.

Despite that, we don't know anything specific about this new game. Currently, the title is "in its early stages" so details will be scarce until an official announcement.

What is clear is the emphasis on "singleplayer" which is plastered all over the job listing. It seems as though this will be the counterpart to Apex Legends. At least, until Respawn's next Star Wars release.
