Lair Of The Clockwork God Is Coming To Consoles Really Soon

Spiffing new age adventure game Lair of the Clockwork God is coming to consoles after a successful release on PC earlier this year. Specifically, it’s coming to Nintendo Switch and Xbox One 4th September, then PlayStation 4 at “a later date”. It’s going to cost £15.50/€18/$20.

Lair of the Clockwork God is new age because of how the game’s two main characters – Ben and Dan – behave. Ben interacts with the world in a traditional point-and-click way, picking things up and crafting things, whereas Dan barrels around like a platform game character. The two need to work together to overcome puzzles in the world, and many jokes about their opposing approaches ensue.

The game is coincidentally made by a Ben and Dan, in this case Ben Ward and Dan Marshall, and follows on from Ben There, Dan That! and Time Gentleman, Please! You’ve probably heard of Marshall’s The Swindle too. Great games, talented developers.
