Loadout Editing Removed From Warzone After One Day

After just one day of being active, Raven Software has removed an anticipated Warzone feature that allowed players to edit their loadout before a match.

Raven Software announced on Twitter that the feature would be removed from Warzone, despite only being in the game for one whole day.

❗We have pushed an update to remove the pre-match lobby Loadout selection.
Players will no longer begin a match with their Loadouts. This also resolves an issue with infinite Dead Silence in core BR modes.
We will re-enable this feature at a later date.

Loadout editing is a feature that has been highly requested in Warzone for quite some time. Before the update, players couldn't edit their loadout when in a pre-match lobby, and could only do it from the main menu, something which this update fixed.

When announcing the removal, Raven said, "We have pushed an update to remove the pre-match lobby Loadout selection. Players will no longer begin a match with their Loadouts. This also resolves an issue with infinite Dead Silence in core BR modes. We will re-enable this feature at a later date."

As reported by VG24/7, the main reason behind the loadout editing being removed is because players discovered that the feature was allowing them to start a match with a full loadout, which is usually exclusive to loadout drops that you have to buy with points in a match. This is what the Tweet is referring to when it says "players will no longer begin a match with their loadouts".

The removal of the feature also gets rid of another glitch that has been hitting Warzone over the past few days, as some players have found that they can use infinitely use the Field Upgrade Dead Silence. Raven has promised to return the loadout editing feature at a later date, but hasn't yet given an update on when that might be.

Loadout editing was added as part of Season Four Reloaded update, which arrived on July 15. Raven announced that the feature was being removed from the game on July 16, meaning that it was around for just one day before being removed. This could be the fastest a feature has been added and removed from Warzone, although some overpowered guns have also seen quick fixes.
