Lost In Random Showcases Its Six "Realms Of Random"

Lostinrandom2

EA has given a deep dive into the six realms you'll be exploring in Lost in Random.

The realms were showcased through a new blogpost over on EA's website, titled "Realms of Random". Each realm is talked about in pretty good detail, revealing more about what Lost in Random is about and showing off some Burton-esque concept art for each level. As you might expect, each world is themed around numbers on a die.

The first realm in the game is called Onecroft and it acts as an introduction to the game. It's described as the lowliest world in Random, with "oners" being overwhelmed with junk that is thrown away from the other realms.

Two-Town is the next world in the game and it's presented as a twisted town that is changed everyday by a roll of the dice. According to the blog post, the mayor of the town is also affected, "Or rather, the Mayors, as his dormant personality has manifested almost entirely into a person of its own that grows out of his tophat, ruling upside-down in his own twisted mirror-flipped version of Two-Town!"

Next, we have Threedom, which is an area of the game that is apparently embroiled in an unending civil war after its mayor was originally murdered. Sounds like Lost in Random is going to be a lot darker than some might have thought.

Things get a lot more western in the next realm, Fourdom, which is presented as a wild-west-esque land of lawlessness, complete with corrupted leaders and rogues.

The fifth world of the game is called Fivetropolis, which was once an advanced world where five legendary card makers thrived. Now it's viewed as nothing more than a shadow of its former self, and one that looks like it's stuck in the ages of an industrial revolution.

Finally, we have Sixtopia, which is described as a perfect land where the Queen reigns supreme, and where Even's sister, Odd, is located. You'll be able to explore these six realms when Lost in Random releases September 10.
