EA Sports is celebrating the launch of Madden 22 – and the start of the college football season – by bringing iconic NCAA teams to a limited-time Campus Legends event in Superstar KO.

To kick off the action, Vince Young and Reggie Bush will be competing against each other at Rose Bowl Stadium, each representing their former schools in a Madden 22 matchup. Matt Leinert and Beth Mowins will be commentating, and you can check out the event tonight at 7pm ET on either the NFL YouTube Channel or Madden NFL Twitch.

“I’ve been a Madden fan for as long as I can remember, so it’s going to be truly special to hit the sticks and see myself in my college uniform for the first time in the game,” Vince Young, Texas alum and Pro Bowler, said. “I can’t wait to take on Reggie [Bush] again in our old colors. I’ve got some serious Madden skills – looking forward to bringing home another win for the Longhorns.”

Ten iconic programs will be available during the Campus Legends event, including:

“Throughout the football season, we deliver new content and enhancements to our Madden players and we’re really excited to bring the fanfare of college football to the millions of players already enjoying Madden NFL 22 to one of our most accessible ways to play in Superstar KO,” Seann Graddy, Executive Producer, EA SPORTS Madden NFL, said.

This isn't the first big promotion for Madden 22 this year, as we saw a collaboration with Interscope in early August that brought 11 exclusive tracks from Swae Lee, Jack Harlow, and several other prominent artists. A variety of Player Ratings were also released in the weeks leading up to launch.

The Campus Legends event will be available in Superstar KO until September 27.
