Indie developer Nosebleed Interactive has a new psychological horror game in the works. Madison is a first-person horror experience where you'll do battles with the damned on PC in 2021, and it's got new footage from the Future Games Show.
Terrorized by the game's demonic namesake, Madison, you'll control Luca in a frightening fight for your soul. Madison drops you into a dark room, locked up and soaked in blood, and only armed with a camera. It's not the ideal arsenal you'd have haunted by creatures from hell, but this camera's photos aid you in revealing the truth.

In Madison's Gamescom trailer, its disturbing debut reveals it's a little bit Fatal Frame and a little bit PT-like. You'll explore first-person corridors filled with jump scares and gruesome visages, only pausing to frantically try and develop your camera's film.
It's quite an homage to its obvious horror game influences, marrying some of the genre's greats together with a modern take. Nosebleed's terrifying adventure promises replayability, too, noting that puzzles keep things fresh by constantly changing and a random event mechanic. Madison insists it will be unforgiving, forcing you to explore and interact with some of the game's biggest scares when you'd rather run and flee.
It's certainly no Madison, but if you're in for a scare that doesn't leave you to the demons alone, Phasmophobia just got an update. And if you're eager to meet somewhere in the middle, Fatal Frame's Maiden of Black Water is out in October for consoles and PC.
