Marvel Fans Think Something is Being Teased for September 10

There may be a new trailer on the way from Marvel Studios. After a teaser with a hearted date on the WandaVision calendar, many are wondering what may be in store.

During WandaVision, one of the first mysteries introduced was what the heart on August 23 meant. Outside of WandaVision, the heart marked the date that Marvel fans received the long-awaited Spider-Man: No Way Home trailer. With one more MCU series set to premiere before the year closes out, many fans are speculating what the teaser means.

The calendar in question is from WandaVision's seventh episode intro and the latest photo of it features a heart on the tenth. With the calendar synching up with the month of September, there is a good chance that Marvel will release something new soon. Marvel's previous use of the WandaVision calendar to reference a trailer date has many anticipating another event. With so many Marvel projects releasing fairly soon, there are a number of possibilities of what the potential news might be.

Hawkeye star Hailee Steinfeld posted a cryptic purple square on her Instagram story around the time that the official Hawkeye Twitter account was reactivated. The coincidence has many Marvel fans speculating that this new WandaVision calendar tease may suggest an official Hawkeye trailer will be released soon. The Hawkeye series is expected to focus on Jeremy Renner's Clint Barton passing his superhero moniker down to Steinfeld's Kate Bishop, a storyline similar to one from the pages of Marvel comics.

Set to premiere in late November, Hawkeye will close out the year of the new Marvel Studios series. With a few Marvel Studios films set to hit theaters in the final months of 2021, it's doubtful that the teaser is related to one of these films. Now that both Eternalsand Spider-Man: No Way Home have official trailers, it's unlikely that fans will receive another one for those projects so soon.

With 2021 preparing to draw to a close in a few months, there is a chance that the tease may reference a movie with a 2022 timestamp. The use of the WandaVision calendar may mean that the event it's teasing is related to a story that involves the Scarlet Witch. Spider-Man: No Way Home's use of the Multiverse may mean it will have a Scarlet Witch link, so the calendar could also indicate a Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness trailer isn't too far off.

WandaVision is now available on Disney Plus.
