Marvel’s Avengers Now Includes Black Panther’s MCU Outfit

Marvel's Avengers' Black Panther content keeps on coming via the addition of the hero's MCU-accurate outfit.

Despite a rocky start and ongoing issues, Marvel's Avengers continues to soldier on and recently added its biggest expansion yet. The War For Wakanda DLC added a whole new chapter and Black Panther to the growing group of playable characters. The DLC slate is now looking pretty sparse for the game with only Spider-Man, a PlayStation exclusive, left on the horizon.

Black Panther's addition has brought with it some of the best-looking outfits added to the game so far. However, there was one look for king T'Challa that was conspicuous by its absence. The outfit Chadwick Boseman sported in his appearances as the Wakandan hero in the MCU. That has now been righted as Black Panther's MCU outfit is available to buy via the in-game store.

“Inspired by the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Black Panther's 'Marvel Studios' Black Panther' Outfit features a king fighting for the throne and for his people,” the tweet reads, along with a shot of how the outfit looks in-game. You can now buy it and try it on for yourself alongside a few other MCU-accurate outfits that have already made it into the game.

Speaking of which, Thor, Captain America, and Hawkeye can now all don the same garb you're familiar with their MCU counterparts wearing on the big screen. The addition of each hero's MCU attire has warranted various reactions from those waiting for them. While some look great, others don't pair well with the virtual version of their corresponding Avenger. Hawkeye, for example, still looks very different from Jeremy Renner's version of the archer in the movies since his MCU outfit doesn't cover his hair and face.

While Avengers continues to soldier on, it's about to have some serious Marvel video game competition. Guardians of the Galaxy, which is also published by Square Enix but will be completely unrelated to Avengers, launches next month. Not to mention Midnight Suns, an all-new Marvel game slated to launch in early 2022. Midnight Suns was revealed at Gamescom and looks like it might be something pretty special.
