Marvel’s Spider-Man 2: 5 Suits We Hope to See | Game Rant

Spider-Man's blue and red suit will always be the classic, but the web slinger has had more than a few costume changes over the years. The variations are seemingly endless, and Insomniac has done a great job so far of implementing many of Spidey's most iconic suits into Marvel's Spider-Man. The developer has also been listening to fans, with options like the Future Foundation and Raimi suits being added after launch.

Spider-Man has over forty suits that can be unlocked, and that's not including the options made available for Miles Morales. That said, there are still a few that fans are eager to see in upcoming installments. Peter will undoubtedly get a few new wardrobe options in Marvel's Spider-Man 2, and there are at least five that should definitely be featured.

This suit hasn't officially been seen in action yet, but Marvel's Spider-Man included several Marvel Cinematic Universe suits, including the homemade suit, the Stark suit, and the MCU version of the Iron Spider. Now, No Way Home will introduce a new uniform.

The suit's specific powers haven't been identified, but some have observed that the design on the forearms looks very reminiscent of Doctor Strange's look. Strange is confirmed to be in No Way Home and is said to be taking over the "mentor" role from Tony Stark, so the suit could be his own creation. Whatever the story behind the suit is, Marvel's Spider-Man should continue featuring MCU suits in the game alongside the comic book classics.

Spider-Man's black suit is probably the most conspicuously absent suit in the game, but there's a very good reason for that. The black suit, or Symbiote suit, is closely associated with Venom and should make an appearance in Spider-Man 2. Unlike many other suits, though, it will likely play a big role in the upcoming story so there's a good reason for delaying it.

Fans have wanted to see the Symbiote suit since the game launched in 2018, but Insomniac is holding out for the next game. Venom was heavily teased in the end credits scenes of both Marvel's Spider-Man and Miles Morales. Harry Osborn is shaping up to be Venom for the PlayStation series, and the Symbiote suit will likely come into play.

The Superior Spider suit was designed by Otto Octavius after Peter's untimely "death" in Amazing Spider-Man #600. It's essentially an upgraded version of the Iron Spider, made more exciting with retractable claws and improved spider-arms on the back. The Superior Spider is one of the most requested suits in the Spider-Man game.

The Superior Spider was very nearly featured in the MCU but was ultimately passed up in favor of other designs. It might make a comeback later, but until then, fans would love to see the Superior Spider in Marvel's Spider-Man 2.

This high-tech suit made its first appearance in 2020, so there's a good reason why it wasn't in Marvel's Spider-Man. Going forward, though, it definitely should be. Designed by Dustin Weaver, this suit debuted in Amazing Spider-Man #61 and #62, released in March of 2020.

Weaver said that the Spider-Man team wanted a look that was both futuristic and classical, and the final look captures both of those ideas very successfully. It's completely different from anything fans have seen Spider-Man in before, and it would look amazing in Marvel's Spider-Man 2. Plus, it's always a good call to feature new designs alongside old fan favorites.

The Bullet Points suit appears in an alternate universe where Bruce Banner becomes Spider-Man rather than Peter Parker. It's an interesting backstory, but the most appealing part about the Bullet Points suit is the design.

This suit is black, purple, and red, which is a rare color combination for Spider-Man. However, the Bullet Point suit also isn't that wild compared to others. Some of the suits featured in the Spider-Man game, such as the Spirit Spider, are pretty out there. Bullet Points sticks to the classic design but mixes it up with a fresh color scheme, which would be great for players wanting to be just a little bit adventurous.

Marvel's Spider-Man is available now on PS4 and PS5.
