Mass Effect Mod Adds Trophies, Statues, And More To Shepard’s Quarters

Starting with Mass Effect 2, Commander Shepard gets an upgrade from their boring 'ol military issue cabin. Much more spacious and easy on the eyes, the new quarters are a real improvement on what you get in the first game. But if you're currently on your billionth playthrough with the launch of the Legendary Edition, you're probably getting a bit bored of it all. This is where "The Collectors Cabin" mod comes in.

Don't let the name throw you off, it's not those collectors. Nope, this is a Mass Effect 3 mod that gradually adds more items to Shepard's quarters. The story-related trinkets are added as you make your way through the main missions, and reference your accomplishments.

There are 24 collectables altogether, ranging from a picture of Thane, a krogan statue, a prothean beacon, and even a breeding tank. Outside of these story-based items, there's also a selection of collectables to purchase from the Alliance requisition store. These include a hologram of Commander Shepard themselves, and even some paintings to put up on the walls of the cabin.

Looking for other ways to spruce up your latest playthrough? The ALOT mod – which was incredibly popular during the original trilogy's run – has now been ported to Legendary Edition. Standing for A Lot Of Textures, ALOT improves the textures in Legendary Edition even further, specifically focussing on the lighting and shadows.
