‘Minecraft Live’ Set To Reveal New Content In October

As we creep closer and closer to the release of Caves & Cliffs Part 2, which will completely revamp Minecraft's world generation (and probably break a lot of things in cool ways), it's hard not to get hyped — and now, we have a target to get hyped at.

Minecraft Live is a livestream of all things Minecraft, from Mojang themselves, which will be broadcast (live) on Saturday, October 16th, at 5pm BST (9am PDT). Here's what to expect:

The guest list includes new and familiar faces from Mojang Studios, our amazing community, and a surprise appearance or two. On the menu you will find in-depth interviews, exciting reveals, a nail-biting vote, and puns galore! In lieu of gifts, please send positive vibes so the power doesn’t go out.

Last year's Minecraft Live included the Caves & Cliffs announcement, a new update for Minecraft Dungeons, a new book, Minecraft's addition to Smash Bros, and the winner of the new mob vote: the Glow Squid, which is now in the game.

To find out more about the event, check out Mojang's official event page, which is also where you can find Minecraft Live when it goes… live. You'll also be able to watch on Twitch, YouTube, and Facebook.
