Mission: Impossible 7 Director Shares Brand New Photo With Tom Cruise

Mission: Impossible 7 director Christopher McQuarrie kept the film's excitement building by posting a new photo on social media. In the new image, fans are able to get a glimpse of Tom Cruise and Hayley Atwell's characters in action.

Mission: Impossible 7 seeks to expand on its predecessors' success by offering fans plenty of thrilling sequences involving IMF agent Ethan Hunt and his crew. McQuarrie, whose crew wrapped up filming at Birmingham New Street, posted the new Mission: Impossible 7 photo to celebrate the hard work on set and show appreciation for the crew's dedication to making the best film possible.

In the newly released black and white photo, Cruise's Hunt and Atwell's Grace stare off in the distance, teasing that something dangerous is yet to come. Atwell's character is still under wraps, but it looks like the actress will play an important role in Grace, an ambiguous individual with questionable loyalties. Originally set to be filmed back-to-back with Mission: Impossible 8, MI7's plot may be setting up the events of a possible finale of the entire franchise, making the stakes feel even higher for these characters.
