The next big update for Monster Hunter Stories 2 arrives on August 5, adding new monsters, co-op quests, and a variety of bug fixes. To coincide with its patch notes reveal, Capcom has also launched a trailer revealing the Wings of Ruin roadmap for the next several months.
Monster Hunter Stories 2 Update 2 officially arrives on PC and Switch tomorrow – August 5 – and is bringing quite a bit of new content. The main draw is Kulve Taroth, a co-op quest exclusive monster, but there's more to look forward to than just a deadly new beast. Here's a look at Monster Hunter Stories 2 full patch notes:

Bug Fixes
- When out in the field only, a Monstie that has been given a gene that boosts attack power of one of the elements would change color depending on the Monstie's elemental values. This has been fixed.

Two more updates will arrive in September, bringing new Monsties and co-op quest exclusive monsters. A fifth update is planned for October – offering more Monsties and a high difficulty (and currently unannounced) monster.
Monster Hunter Stories 2 has already put up some impressive numbers, hitting one million copies sold as of July 20. Its also been giving away free in-game items, and with even more updates planned through 2021, the spin-off game seems to have a bright future ahead.
