Capcom announced Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin during the Nintendo Direct Mini Partner Showcase.
Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is the sequel to the 3DS title Monster Hunter Stories that released in 2016. The Monster Hunter Stories series features drastically different gameplay from the main Monster Hunter series.
In Monster Hunter Stories, players fight by capturing eggs and riding monsters into battle. Each rider and partner has their own unique abilities and tactics they can add to a fight.

Monster Hunter Stories: Wings of Destiny will release on the Nintendo Switch. No official release date has been announced.
