Monster Hunter Stories: Wings of Ruin Demo

The Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin demo is out now on the Switch. It allows you to reach level 11 and transfer your progress to the full game. Plus, you can obtain a talisman for Monster Hunter Rise.

Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin is nearing completion. It’s the next action RPG and turn-based combat game in the Monster Hunter saga in which we must doom or fight alongside every beast that crosses our path.

For good measure and to alleviate anticipation, the game’s demo is now available on Nintendo Switch. This free trial version of the game will allow us to enjoy the beginning of the story, change the appearance of the Rider, test the combat system, add Monsties to the team, and customize the equipment.

Furthermore, the same demo will be available on PC via Steam starting on July 9, the same day the game releases on a global scale. Any progress made in the trial version can be carried over to the full version. Saving demo data grants the talisman that binds Monster Hunter Rise, an item that enables you to use the “mountain” and “large area” abilities.

In the trial version, Level 11 is the highest possible score. You can continue to play after reaching that level, but your experience will not improve. When you reach a certain point in the adventure, the demo will end and a window will appear asking if you want to save your current progress.

The demo of Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin has only one storage space, but the full game will have three. Also, the demo version takes up 2.8 GB of internal memory or microSD card space on the hybrid console.

You can pre-order the physical edition at Amazon and the digital version at Humble Store.
