Capcom have announced the launch date of the second major free update for Monster Hunter Stories 2: Wings of Ruin.
The second free major update sees the introduction of the Kulve Taroth co-op quest; offering rare materials for beating it, which can also be played with an AI partner. The update also brings the the Hellblade Glavenus monstie, and the Boltreaver Astalos monstie via their own quests lines.
The second free update will be available August 5th. The next update will come August 19th, adding seven quests (four of which will be co-op quests).

The free updates had previously introduced the Palamute monstie from Monster Hunter Rise. The next major updates will be in early September, late September, and October. Each bring new monsties, while the late September and October updates bring new co-op quests with exclusive monsters.
