New PUBG Update Will Bring Hyundai Truck, Taego Map Changes & More

PUBG Update 13.2 Is Bringing a Lot of Changes to the Game

PUBG is getting a new update soon, and it looks like the game’s fans will be treated to a lot of new content. One of the most highlighted new features is the new Hyundai vehicle, the Porter pick-up truck.

PUBG, or more redundantly referred to as PUBG: Battlegrounds, will soon have the Porter, which will be exclusive to the Taego map—which, in turn, will also get its own array of changes. The Porter is a Hyundai make, which confirms that Forza Horizon 5 is not the only game that can use licensed vehicles in-game. It can sit up to four passengers, but one key feature that is highlighted with this newly added vehicle is its Trunk System feature.

This new PUBG feature will allow its players to store items right in the back of the vehicle. This can deem to be very helpful when players are trying to move items across the length of the map. However, it must be noted that if the vehicle crashes and gets totalled, all items stored at the back will be lost.

In addition to the new Porter truck, PUBG players will also be able to play in Casual Mode. This will allow them to warm up in less stressful environments while in the Erangel map. They can play it for up to three matches per day—either in solo or in team play. Players using Casual Mode can still collect BP rewards, complete missions, and collect XP.

As previously mentioned, the Taego map is also getting some changes to its mini map layout, sunset, and overcast weather options. The Crazy Night-themed Survivor Pass will be over the top, and will last up to eight weeks, instead of six.

A new PUBG weapon, the P90, will also be available. It is described as a very powerful and fully kitted Care Package item. It comes with a 50-round magazine, a laser pointer, and a suppressor. The Blue Zone Grenade is also a unique weapon that can potentially shake up the PUBG gameplay. It can be tossed towards enemies and will create a same storm-like effect from the Blue Zone, which can damage—and even kill—opponents if they are within the zone for too long.
