The Iconic Nigel Thornberry Has Been Showcased For Nickelodeon’s All-Star Brawl
Sir Archibald Nigel Thornberry of the Wild Thornberrys is a fan favorite character from Nickelodeon series of that era, and the developers, GameMill Entertainment have certainly done him justice as seen in its latest showcase. The character’s moveset is reminiscent of his time on the series as Nigel Thornberry devoted his life to wild animals and habitats. In the game, many of his moves are based on animals including crocodiles and orangutans. Nickelodeon’s All-Star Brawl is set to release on 5th October 2021 on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC.
Nigel Thornberry can be described as a character with heavy weight, strong attacks and well…average speed. He emphasizes footsies and uses a crocodile to dash across the map. Other moves in his skillset include the Frog Hop, Woodpecker, Mosquito Trap, Falcon Dive, Bull Horns, Scorpion Sting and much more. Nigel’s attacks are slower but give enough kickback to be worth it.
The showcase also highlights key aspects of Nigel’s stage, the Wild Waterfall. The stage is large, with a chasm in the middle and six different platforms for players to jump onto. The waterfall also has platforms rotating around, that might just lead to a few players falling off the stage. The stage also has a few nostalgic elements tucked away.
As Nickelodeon’s All-Star Brawl nears its release, GameMill Entertainment have unveiled quite a few characters including Danny Phantom, Lucky Loud, Leonardo, Michelangelo, Patrick, April O’Neil, Catdog and of course, Spongebob Squarepants. Many people are really hopeful that the game delivers as its graphics, art style and themes look great!
