Nintendo have announced the premiere date of the next Nintendo Direct presentation, focusing on games for Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2021; as well as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
While Nintendo Directs in recent years have been shorter, focused on indies, or focused on individual games; this would be the first “true” Nintendo Direct focusing on a variety of first-party Nintendo titles since September 4th, 2019.
The presentation will be roughly 50 minutes long, and will focus on games coming to the Nintendo Switch in the first half of 2021, along with currently released titles like Super Smash Bros. Ultimate.
The latter may mean that a DLC character will be revealed. So far two characters have been revealed for Fighters Pass Vol. 2; Minmin from ARMS, and Sephiroth from Final Fantasy VII.
The Nintendo Direct presentation premieres February 2nd at 2:00 p.m. PT (5:00 p.m. ET) on YouTube.
Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now for Nintendo Switch. In case you missed it, you can find our thorough review for the game here (we highly recommend it!)
