Square Enix today confirmed that their upcoming co-op RPG shooter Outriders is also coming to Google Stadia.
“One of the core concepts of Outriders is that you can play it your way, with a character progression system that allows for unrivaled creativity and flexibility,” says Sebastian Wojchiechowski, CEO at developer People Can Fly. “With the exciting and innovative cloud technology of Google Stadia, you will be able to play your way, anywhere.”
If you’re unfamiliar, the game is a co-op role-playing shooter with a story set in a dark sci-fi world. Players become an Outrider, a fallen pioneer from a forgotten past, reborn with devastating powers. The developers recently released a ten-minute video that dives into the game’s campaign.
Outriders comes from the developers at People Can Fly, the same studio behind Gears of War: Judgment and Bulletstorm. In addition to Stadia, it’s coming to PC via Steam, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X this fall.
