Overwatch's Summer Games 2021 is live and it brings with it the usual set of weekly challenges and rewards. Each is themed around a new epic quality skin.

These have been a staple of every event and they're fairly simple to complete. This year, the stars are Winston, Pharah, and Hanzo.

There are three weekly challenges in total and we're going to break down what each of the rewards are and how you get them.

Week 1 – Ocean King Winston

The first week is all about the new Winston skin. Here's everything you need to do to unlock the player icon, spray, and skin itself.

Goal Reward
Play 9 Games Ocean King Winston Icon
Play 18 Games Ocean King Winston Spray
Play 27 Games Ocean King Winston Epic Skin

This first week runs from July 20 to July 27. The next week starts every Tuesday.

Any games count toward the goal — you can dive into Quick Play, Competitive, or Arcade. You also do not need to win these games. Simply playing through to the end is enough. Leaving will forfeit that match from your progress, however.

Trivia: Winston's prior Summer Games skin – Catcher – is also available in the loot boxes.

Week 2 – Sunset Pharah

The second week shows off Pharah's new epic skin.

To unlock the spray, player icon, and skin itself, you need to do the following:

Goal Reward
Play 9 Games Sunset Pharah Player Icon
Play 18 Games Sunset Soar Spray
Play 27 Games Sunset Pharah Epic Skin

You can get Sunset Pharah's rewards from July 27 to August 3. The unlock goals are the exact same as Ocean King Winston but progress does not carry over.

If you miss out on the first week's 27 games, the next will not start with that number. It will be reset back to zero.

Trivia: Like with Winston, you can get Pharah's prior Summer Games skins in the loot boxes. Up for grabs is Lifeguard, marking Sunset as her second ever skin.

Week 3 – Nihon Hanzo

From August 3 until August 10 – week three – you can get the Nihon Hanzo skin.

To unlock the spray, player icon, and cosmetic, you must do the following:

Goal Reward
Play 9 Games Nihon Hanzo Player Icon
Play 18 Games Nihon Hanzo Spray
Play 27 Games Nihon Hanzo Epic Skin

After this week, Overwatch Summer Games 2021 comes to a close. You can get all of these skins in loot boxes next year if you missed any.

Trivia: Nihon translates to "the sun's origin" or "Land of the Rising Sun."

You can also get Hanzo's previous Summer Games skin 'Wave' in the loot boxes this year.
