YouTube star Mr Beast has gone viral after posing for a picture next to the recently returned WWE wrestler and Hollywood superstar John Cena. The tweet has amassed 320,00 likes and 10,000 retweets at the time of writing, which is impressive considering we are just two days removed from WWE SummerSlam where the photo was taken.
On the left of the photo is John Cena, one of the most decorated WWE athletes of all time and bonified mainstream megastar who is only one World title win away from beating Ric Flair’s record of 16 World Championship titles. Unfortunately, John Cena was not able to defeat Flair’s record as he lost in the main event of SummerSlam to the current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns. Thankfully, not all is lost for Cena as he is still one of Hollywood’s top movie stars, having recently appeared in The Suicide Squad and F9, the latter of which is part of the Fast & Furious franchise.

On the right of the photo is Mr Beast, one of the biggest YouTube stars on the platform who is known for giving away large sums of money and generally helping smaller content creators in the social media space. Mr Beast could not help himself but make a joke as he captioned the tweet “I couldn’t find someone to take a picture with me,” jokingly referencing John Cena’s trademark "You Can’t See Me" taunt. This gave Mr Beast fans the opportunity to respond with jokes of their own, helping the tweet blow up and become viral thanks to all the interactions the tweet received.
This is not the first time YouTube has crossed paths with the WWE Universe. Recently Logan Paul made a guest appearance at WrestleMania along with an appearance on WWE SmackDownand even SummerSlam this past weekend. Thankfully, Mr Beast’s time with WWE worked out a lot better than Logan's by opting for just a photo as Paul was hit with a Stunner by Kevin Owens at WWE’s biggest event of the year.
Mr Beast’s photo with John Cena is continuing the trend of YouTube stars becoming increasingly more mainstream, with Logan Paul fighting legendary boxer Floyd Mayweather, his brother Jake taking on Tyron Woodley at the end of August, and KSI topping the UK albums chart with his second album All Over The Place.
