Many players are participating in raids in Pokemon GO as of late due to the brand new Mega Evolution raids in-game. However, due to these raids being tough, it isn’t recommended to go at these raids alone.
While it is easy to recommend challenging raids in groups, players in Pokemon GO still need to follow social distancing regulations. Because of this, players are expected to take advantage of Remote Raid Passes instead of traditional ones.

Remote Raid Passes normally go for 100 Pokecoins for one pass or 250 Pokecoins for 3 passes. However, there is a special offer currently active for players that can allow them to get passes for cheap.
From now until Wednesday, September 30, 2020, at 1:00 pm PDT, there will be a special offer available for Remote Raid Passes. Players will be able to get a bundle of three Remote Raid Passes that only costs 1 Pokecoin. Buyers should note that this bundle can only be purchased once.
The main purpose of this bundle is to celebrate the aforementioned release of Mega Evolution raids. Players can only use their Remote Raid Passes on raids listed as being nearby on their maps. Players can additionally invite other friends to join while in the raid’s lobby.
Remote Raid Passes won’t be consumed until the raid has started. This means that players can back out of raids before they begin if they feel that there aren’t enough people participating to defeat the raid boss.
The current Tier 1 raid bosses are:
- Sandshrew
- Kingler
- Marowak
- Gligar
- Wailmer
- Prinplup
- Shinx
- Oshawott
- Timburr
The current Tier 3 raid bosses are:
- Alolan Raichu
- Machamp
- Onix
- Alolan Marowak
- Rhydon
- Vaporeon
- Donphan
- Claydol
The current Tier 5 raid boss is:A
- Heatran
The current Mega raid bosses are:
- Mega Venusaur
- Mega Charizard X
- Mega Charizard Y
- Mega Blastoise
While tiers 1 bosses can reasonably be taken on alone, all other bosses should have at least two trainers to challenge them. Using the Remote Raid Passes, this will make partying up with others a far easier task. With this offer only being available for a limited time, it is recommended that players spend the one coin and buy this pack as soon as possible. Even for those who aren’t focusing on the Mega Raids, the Remote Raid Passes are helpful for those who are unable to travel to certain raid sites.
These passes will not expire and can be kept even after the bundle leaves the store in September.
Pokemon GO is available now in select regions on Android and iOS devices.
