Now that we’re a ways into June, we recapped the Pokemon Go June 2022 Community Day!
At the end of May, Niantic released the June 2022 Pokemon Go roadmap. In the roadmap, Niantic announced details for Pokemon Go events, Spotlight hours, Legendary raids, and Mega raids. Looking at the roadmap, it was clear that one very important detail was missing; the major detail missing was the Pokemon Go June 2022 Community Day Announced Pokemon reveal.
With that major event omitted, the Pokemon Go community expected something spectacular, especially after the aggravating changes made to Pokemon Go and the disappointing Pokemon Go Fest. So what is the June 2022 Pokemon Go Community Day Pokemon?
The Pokemon Go June 2022 Community Day Announced Pokemon is Deino. Many players suspected it might be a Pokemon debuting in Pokemon Go similar to Stufful. However, this announcement has left the community divided with Deino’s shiny variant a possible reward for completing one-star raids.

June 2022 Community Day Details
Similar to the recent trend in Community days, the June 25th Community Day will only last 3 hours. The June 2022 Pokemon Go Community Day will run from 11 AM to 2 PM local time. Below is everything you should expect and can potentially purchase during the community day.
- Hydreigon will learn the exclusive move Brutal Swing (65 DMG) when evolved from Zweilous.
- Evolve Zweilous into Hydreigon between 11 AM to 7 PM to learn the exclusive move.
- 2X Catch candy will be active
- 1/4 Hatch Distance
- 2X Chance to get Deino Candy XL after each catch
- 2 Special trades and 1 seasonal trade
- 50% less stardust to make trades
- Field Notes: Deino Special research will be available for 1.00 USD or equivalent
- Up to 5 Deino’s will appear from Snapshots
- New Deino stickers
- A Deino Avatar Hat will be available for 150 Pokecoins
- Zweilous will appear in special 4-star raids.
- If Zweilous is defeated, Deinos will spawn up to 300 meters from the gym.
- Catching enough Pokemon near a Pokestop will cause Zweilous to spawn in the wild.
- A community day chest will be available
