In today’s Pokémon Presents, the Pokémon Company gave more info related to upcoming remakes Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl.

During today’s Pokémon Presents, The Pokémon Company debuted new cinematics for Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, the new versions of the 2007 Nintendo DS games. With the release date approaching, they have provided us with a more in-depth look at what the new remakes have to offer.

Graphics

The visuals of the game were questioned by fans in February when we were shown the first photos from the franchise’s 25th-anniversary presentation.

With regard to graphics, what appeared to be a copycat version of Pokémon: Let’s Go Pikachu and Eevee, you could notice the little work that Game Freak had done. But it seems that they have heard the fans and adjusted course.

In today’s teaser, we can witness a significant increase in the visuals, with more work done and attractive graphics that we can observe in the shaders, environment, Pokémon, and characters.

Game mechanics and more

Not only have we been able to see its updated visuals but also new gameplay mechanics that will bring Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl when it is released in November have been shown. For example, Pokémon Lairs have been revealed, which are caves inhabited by wild species found only in the Underground and will change based on the sculptures used to decorate the Secret Base.

Touch controls have been confirmed for the mining mini-games, which are also available underground, as well as the ability to customize the character, choose certain Pokémon to follow us as we explore Sinnoh, customize the opening effects of the Poké Ball, rhythm mini-games for the Pokémon Super Contest, and a Union Room where we can battle and exchange our creatures online.

Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl are coming to the Nintendo Switch on November 19. If you want to reserve yours, pre-orders are open now for both physical and digital versions.
