Lillipup can be found and fought in the wild in Pokemon Unite. However, if you leave it alone, it will eventually evolve into Herdier.
One month on from Pokemon Unite's launch and those who picked up the free-to-play game early on will have their favorites and maybe even select routes they take depending on the match. Anyone who has their favorites will also have Blissey to consider this week. The support Pokemon's arrival was revealed earlier today and she will be officially added to the roster on Wednesday.
The Pokemon that are a part of Unite are more than just the ones on its playabale roster. There are also the wild Pokemon you battle to harvest aeos energy. Aipom, Ludicolo, and of course, Zapdos. Speaking of which, it has been confirmed that if the wild Lillipup that can be found in Unite's jungle area is left until Zapdos arrives, it really does evolve.

FeelEuphoric posted evidence of Lillipup evolving into Herdier on Reddit and appropriately titled it “I needed to see it happen”. Players had claimed Lillipup evolves, but the circumstances of a Unite match means it is rarely allowed to happen. As you can see in the clip proving that Herdier is a part of Unite, Lillipup doesn't evolve until eight minutes of the ten-minute match have passed.
Since there is only one Lillipup in a match that is easy to defeat, the odds of it lasting eight minutes are almost non-existent. Aside from an Absol that appears to be protecting it in the clip above, it's unclear how any Lillipup manages to last long enough that it evolves into a Herdier. Since it takes so long for Lillipup to evolve into Herdier, it also seems a little unfair that defeating it only results in one additional unit of aeos energy.
Despite confirmation that Lilliipup does eventually evolve into Herdier, we can confirm even if Herdier survives the final two minutes of the match, it doesn't eventually evolve into Stoutland. Speaking of evolutionary chains, although Blissey's arrival has been announced, it is yet to be confirmed whether the healing Pokemon will start a match as Happiny or Chansey.
