Square Enix have announced Project Triangle Strategy (working title) during today’s Nintendo Direct.
Using a similar 2d sprite in a 3d world graphical style to Octopath Traveller; the game takes place in land of three nations who went to war over salt and iron. While a truce was declared decades ago, intrigue threatens to break out into war again.
The choices you make will decide what your convictions will be; affecting the story and who will join you. In battle, the position of characters, elevation, and elements all combo off one another to create new opportunities.
A demo is available today, and a feedback survey will be produced in the futue.
