PS Plus Deal Lets Subscribers Get 12 Months at Half the Price

Ps Plus Free Game

Having a PlayStation Plus subscription is essential for players that want to engage in online activities within games, but it's a great purchase even for players that prefer single player experiences. Aside from allowing players to go online, PS Plus subscribers also gain access to two to three free games each month, discounts on certain games, and other benefits. Under normal circumstances, it costs $59.99 in order to get a full year's worth of the subscription service, but Sony is offering a way for players to get it at half off. The subscription is rarely discounted directly from Sony, so players should take advantage of this.

This month with PlayStation Plus, players can get access to Hunter's Arena: Legends on PS5, Plants vs. Zombies: Battle for Neighborville on PS4, and Tennis World Tour 2 on PS4. Fans aren't wholly thrilled about this lineup, but there's always next month. WIth the full 12 month subscription, players would eventually get 24 to 36 free games between PS4 and PS5 platforms.

As great as this deal is, there is one major caveat to keep in mind. At the time of writing, this half off deal is not offered to players in the United States, and only PlayStation players in the following countries will be eligible:

There are also a few other important things about the deal. In order to qualify, players must purchase the subscription directly from the PlayStation store, otherwise they'll end up paying full price. What's more, the half off deal won't apply to players whose subscriptions auto renew during the offer period. Be sure to log on and buy the 12 months subscription between now and August 31st, 2021 at 10:00 GMT, as this is when the deal will end and the price will go back up.

Whether players are just now joining PlayStation Plus or they are simply renewing their subscriptions manually, there's never been a better time. Third party sellers often discount the subscription, but it's a rare occurrence that fans can get a year's worth from Sony itself for half off, so it's best not to miss out and to act quickly.
