Redmi K50 Supreme Edition Launched
At Lei Jun’s annual speech, in addition to Mix Fold2, Redmi side also launched Redmi K50 Supreme Edition/Extreme Edition, with a new look and price starting at 2,999 yuan, and as high as 4199 yuan for the champion edition.
The Redmi K50 Supreme Edition has three colorways: silver trace, elegant black, and ice blue, with a metal camera DECO, 8.6mm thick, and weighting 202g. The back cover also features an extremely deep curved AG surface glass design to complete the curvature of the back to fit the palm of your hand.
The Redmi K50 Supreme Edition is powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen1 processor and comes with “Performance Mode” for more aggressive gaming tuning with no resolution drop at 120Hz.
The machine has a total thermal area of 30,000mm², and the official test of “Original Gods” has a maximum body temperature of 46°C and an average frame rate of 58.03 FPS.
Redmi K50 Extreme Edition also comes with an exclusive custom 1.5K straight screen with 446PPi, support for high-frequency PWM dimming, SGS low visual fatigue certification, and screen power consumption performance almost on par with 1080P.
In addition, the Redmi K50 Extreme Edition has a 5000mAh battery, supports 120W fast charging, and is equipped with Xiaomi’s Surge P1 charging chip.
In terms of camera, the Redmi K50 Supreme Edition features a 20MP front-facing center-perforated lens and a 108MP Samsung ISOCELL S5KHM6, OIS main camera + 8MP ultra wide-angle + 2MP macro lens on the rear.
In terms of camera features, the K50 Supreme Edition also supports the first-ever focus on everything, which is transplanted from the “CyberDog Master Tracking System” and combines the functions of human eye focus, face focus, person focus, motion focus, etc., from recognition to detection and tracking are all performed automatically by AI, which greatly improves the film production rate in difficult scenes such as motion capture.
