Tactical Adventures, a French indie studio, has announced the Sorcerer update for its tactical RPG Solasta: Crown of the Magister alongside a new overview trailer.

Solasta is a team-based tactical role-playing game in which each character plays an important role in the campaign and has the potential to be a hero. The dynamic and mysterious world contains vertical elements, allowing players to use their surroundings as a strategy. Ranged characters can be placed at high vantage points, or rogues can be sent down into shafts and caverns to investigate what lies ahead.

Light in Solasta is a tool for exploring the depths and hallows of dungeons or as a weapon against dark creatures. But if players are not careful, it will reveal the party’s position to nasty creatures bent on their demise.

What’s included in the Sorcerer update?

The new update includes items promised to backers during the Solasta: Crown of the Magister Kickstarter campaign in 2019, as well as the Sorcerer class and Iron Man difficulty setting.

Solasta: Crown of the Magister received positive media and user reviews after the release of the Steam version 1.0 on May 27. The Sorcerer class update is the first major update since the game’s 1.0 release. More updates and DLC are on the way. The gameplay in Solasta: Crown of the Magister is bound to improve once more.

Sorcerer class

The Sorcerer class introduces three new subclasses (Draconic Bloodline, Mana Painter, and Child of the Rift), as well as new features, clothing, and body modifications. Iron Man Mode also includes a new difficulty setting for players who want to step up the challenge. If you live by the dice, you’ll die by the dice.

Other Dungeon Maker options include Woodland, Sewers, and Catacombs. Among the improvements are Mod.io for GoG and Microsoft Game Pass, as well as bug fixes, polish, and game stabilization.

The Sorcerer Update is now available on PC for free to all Solasta: Crown of the Magister players. The game is available on Steam for $31.99 with a 20% discount until July 19th.
