Sony Has Officially Published Horizon: Forbidden West’s Pre-order Details Ahead Of Its Launch In 2022
Horizon: Forbidden West is the long awaited sequel to Horizon: Zero Dawn, a game that first launched as a PlayStation exclusive, but made its way over to PC and was very successful there. Horizon: Forbidden West was first announced in June and originally scheduled to launch in the latter half of 2021. Unfortunately, PlayStation announced that the game would be delayed until February 18th, 2022. Fans can check out some first look gameplay here. Although the game has been delayed, via PlayStation Blog, Sony has revealed details about pre-ordering the game’s digital deluxe and collector’s edition.
Pre-orders for the game are available from today. Any pre-order guarantees players Nora’s Legacy Outfit and Spear that can be redeemed in the PlayStation Store. The cross-gen Digital Deluxe Edition includes the base game along with two special outfits, two special weapons, digital art book and soundtrack and graphic novel Sunhawk and two in-game items that can be used.
The Special Edition is a unique Steelbook with a physical disc copy for either PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 and features a digital soundtrack and artbook.
The Collector’s Edition is packed full of cool benefits. It includes everything in the Digital Deluxe Edition along with the Steelbook Display Case, custom sculpted Tremortusk and Aloy statue and a mini artbook. Finally, the Regalla Edition goes further than the Collector’s Edition and also includes replica focus and custom stand and two art print cards.

Horizon: Forbidden West takes place six months after its predecessor and takes Aloy to new mysterious lands where she will encounter new enemies and fight to save earth.
