Square Enix Confirms Its Planned Releases For 2022

Square Enix is a major video game publisher and developer. The company has released a statement indicating various titles that it expects to launch in 2022. There is a wide variety in genres and there’s something for everyone! Some of the games include Babylon’s Fall, Chocobo GP and Forspoken.

Firstly, Life is Strange: Remastered Collection is up first as it will launch on February 1st. Players will reunite with Max Caulfield, Chloe Price and Rachel Amber. The Collection includes Life is Strange and Life is Strange: Before the Storm. Secondly, On March 3rd, players can hop into Babylon’s Fall, where they must ascend a tower with friends to face hordes of dangerous enemies.

Moreover, Chocobo GP, for the Switch, is set to release on March 10th and includes a Story Mode, 64-Player Online Mode and much more. Players must race for the ultimate prize! Also in the Final Fantasy Universe is Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin and Final Fantasy VI: Pixel Remaster. These two games will release on March 18th, 2022 and a date in February 2022, to be decided. In the former title, KOEI Tecmo Games provides a new spin on the universe while players take a nostalgic journey in Final Fantasy VI’s remaster.

Additionally, in 2022, fans of Outriders, a co-op looter-shooter, can expect their first expansion. The Worldslayer Expansion takes players to the furthest places with new maps, loot and stories.

Also, Forspoken which releases on May 24th, 2022 on PC and PS5, is a new action RPG wherein Frey Holland must save the world of Athia. Finally, in 2022, Star Ocean: The Divine Force is set to launch. It is a brand new action RPG.
