Star Trek Online Launches Newest Season, House United

It is time to brush up on your Klingon as Star Trek Online’s newest season unleashes the long-awaited finale to the Klingon Civil War. Beginning today, the free-to-play MMORPG’s newest season, House United, is available to console players. This new adventure will take players on a galaxy-spanning quest to prove their worth and build an army for a final showdown of epic proportions.

This newest season focuses on the finale of the Klingon Civil War, which began earlier this year in the House Reborn event. House United focuses on matriarch of House Mo’Kai, J’Ula, as she has resurrected the famed Klingon Warrior L’Rell to put an end to this conflict. However, L’Rell becomes a guiding light for J’Ula as she shows her what it truly means to be a Klingon. House United brings with it some familiar Klingon faces and voices from the Star Trek Universe including Star Trek: Discovery’s L’Rekk (voiced by Mary Chieffo) and Adet’Pa (Rekha Sharma), Star Trek: The Next Generation’s Aakar (Robert O’Reilly), and Deep Space: Nine’s General Martok (J.G Hertzler).

This new update brings with it two brand new episodes with “Warriors of the Empire” seeing players fight alongside J’Ula and L’Rell to gain support for their cause as they head into the final showdown in “A Day Long Remembered”. It also offers the ‘Only Qo’nos Endures’ Event where players can earn an exclusive ground set inspired by Aakar by exploring new episodes, patrols, and TFO’s related to the Klingon Civil War. A New Task Force Operation lets players experiences “Remain Klingon”, a five-Captain space TFO that concludes the Civil War storyline as the final battle rages on above Qo’noS. Plus, House United lets players enjoy three new patrols based on the “Warriors of the Empire” episode.

Star Trek Online is a free-to-play MMORPG that lets players experience the vast Star Trek Universe. Players can take on several different roles including the Captain of a Federation starship, a Klingon Warrior, a commander of a Romulan Republic Warbird, or a Jem’Hadar soldier. No matter which path a player takes, they will be able to get up close and personal with iconic locations from the Star Trek Universe and interact with iconic alien races from the series.

House United is available now, for free, on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Steam.
