SteelSeries has announced the launch of two new headsets in their Arctis 7 wireless headset line. The Arctis 7+ and Arctis 7P+ wireless gaming headsets deliver new features, including 30+ hours of battery life, plus a 15-minute quick charge feature for 3 hours of gameplay, USB-C connectivity with play-and-charge functionality for seamless multi-platform compatibility, and SteelSeries signature Arctis sound.

Here is a rundown of what each headset offers and the slight differences between them:

There doesn’t seem to be much of a difference between them, so feel free to get the one that you think looks the best. The 7P+ comes in black and white compared to the 7+ just coming in black, and the 7P+ is guaranteed to work with the PS5’s 3D audio. I’m pretty sure every headset does that, however, and Sony recently allowed TV speakers to utilize the tech. This just seems like a marketing gimmick.

I do like SteelSeries and they are where I get most of my peripherals. I’m already rocking one of their headsets and I use a keyboard by them as well. Still, I’m not about to drop $169.99 on either of these headsets.
