Suda51 has said that No More Heroes 3 is the final battle for Travis Touchdown, saying "Goodbye No More Heroes".
The message was shared by the official No More Heroes 3 Twitter account, ran by Grasshopper Manufacture. In the message, Suda51 discusses several different topics including the weather, the future of the series, and the potential title for the game.

In the message, Suda51 says, "I hope everyone is getting by OK in the summer heat. There is a brand new, exhilarating action game in which the entire galaxy is thrown into a state of war that will hopefully help to blow away this sweltering heat and humidity… This game is called No More Heroes 3 FINAL BOUT – All Out Galactic War! Or, it was going to be called that, but the subtitle was just too long so we ended up taking a hint from the Rocky series and simply going with No More Heroes 3 instead."
Suda also detailed the future of the series, saying that it will be taking a break for a while. "As hinted with the "Final" thing, Travis Touchdown will finally be coming to the end of his final battle, and will be embarking on a much-deserved, long journey. Join him as he goes absolutely buck wild in the Garden – no, Cosmos of Madness!"
The end of the message says, "Now, carrying with it a thousand thoughts, I run along the Thunder Road once more. As one journey ends, the crimson bike falls into a deep sleep. Goodbye, Travis. Goodbye, No More Heroes. Goodbye, fleeting moments and days. Farewell, to all Travis Touchdowns everywhere!"
Although some fans might be worried that No More Heroes is going away for good, Suda51 has previously claimed that after this game, Travis Touchdown would be taking a break for some time. It's unlikely that the series is going away forever, and instead Suda probably just wants to work on other things and let this third entry speak for itself.
