Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League Has Reportedly Been Delayed to 2023

Back when Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League was finally unveiled in 2020, publisher WB Games said that the open world action-adventure title would launch sometime in 2022, and until as recently as its gameplay showing at The Game Awards in December, it’s stuck to that window. It seems, however, that the game may have been internally delayed.

Bloomberg’s Jason Schreier recently published a report in which he states that according to people “familiar with its development”, Rocksteady’s upcoming game has been pushed back into 2022. The report doesn’t go into what caused the delay, but one would assume that the game just needs more time, especially with COVID-related production hurdles being a factor.

WB Games does have other major releases planned for 2022 though, with Warner Media CEO Jason Kilar recently having reiterated that both Gotham Knights and Hogwarts Legacy will launch this year. Meanwhile, LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga is also due out in April.
