Suicide Squad’s Bloodsport Is Coming To Fortnite

In a surprise reveal on Twitter, it's been announced that Bloodsport from James Gunn's Suicide Squad will be the newest addition to Fortnite.

Suicide Squad director James Gunn posted a video to his personal Twitter account to reveal the surprise announcement of Bloodsport earlier today. In the video, Bloodsport actor Idris Elba shares the news with Fortnite fans, along with a very short gameplay demonstration which shows Bloodsport in game flying down a zipline and blowing up a gas station.

The video then ends with a little teaser that more is going to be shared tomorrow. With the cinematic release of James Gunn's Suicide Squad just around the corner, this could be the start of a whole new bunch of Suicide Squad related characters coming to Fortnite. We've already had a Harley Quinn skin, so it's not too unlikely we might see other Suicide Squad characters like King Shark or Peacemaker.

Whatever the case may be, if you're interested in seeing what else James Gunn has in store for Fortnite, make sure you keep an eye out tomorrow to make sure you don't miss any announcements.

In related Fortnite news, the game's map currently has a clock counting down to what is likely the game's next big event. There have been leaks and rumors suggesting that an Ariana Grande outift and concert reveal is possibly related to the countdown, although that is still unconfirmed. However, it's worth noting that this comes from the same leaker who has now accurately predicted the addition of Suicide Squad characters.

It's unlikely that this countdown is related to the beginning of Season 8 since Season 7's Battle Pass doesn't actually end until September 12th, so the announcement of an Ariana Grande concert and outift in Fortnite could be big enough to justify the hype. Thankfully, we won't have to wait long to find out as the clock is set to reach zero on August 6th. If you're interested in seeing what happens, keep your eyes open next Friday.
