Super Mario 3D All-Stars to Add Inverted Camera in Update, November 16

Super Mario 3D All-Stars

Nintendo have announced they will be adding inverted camera-control settings to Super Mario 3D All-Stars.

The game is on Nintendo Switch, and sold until March 31st, 2021. You can find our review here. While our review criticized the limited camera controls of Super Mario 64 (albeit authentic to the original game), Nintendo have announced the new update will add inverted camera controls.

Inversion can also be different for different kinds of camera, such as going into over-the-shoulder in Super Mario Sunshine to better aim FLUDD. Some fans reportedly hated the original having an inverted camera, only to discover 3D All-Stars had fixed the problem they had long built muscle-memory for.

The update will launch November 16th in the US, and November 17th in Europe and Japan.
